Identity.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Recently, I've encountered a video that made me wonder a renowned question ;
WHO AM I ?

You can watch it yourself , and subsequently try to understand what I've extrapolated from the readings I've made :)

.......
Well, the video doesn't provide us with the answer to such philosophical (or I could say, rhetorical) question. It simply define the question according to the perspective of some well-known philosophers and theorists.

However, as muslims we should keep in our minds and hearts that Allah is The All-Knower, and that every question has its answer, its just that our knowledge is limited

ALLAH SWT said : "And when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (khalifah). They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" ALLAH said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know" (QS 2:30)

The tafseer of this verse would be deliberate, and you can look for it in any renowned tafseer (I always use Tafsir Ibn Kathir as reference).
However, based on this verse we can conclude that
1. ALLAH SWT has created us (humans) as khalifah on this world
2. ALLAH Knows what we do not know and that our knowledge is limited (like I told you above)

(QS 95:4)

Based on the picture above, ALLAH SWT has created mankind as the best creature.

Thus, we should all be aware of our duty on this world,
We should all be grateful on having us being ourselves, the way ALLAH has created us,
And may this sharing provides you with the answer of who you are, based on the Quran :)
and with that, I bid you a farewall, and salam Jumu'ah!
السلام عليكم
